Feel the moves instead of “going through the motions”
Is it just me, or does the groundhog’s day feeling of quarantine got you just “going through the motions” lately? I feel like I’ve been lacking in a real genuine connection with not only the things I’m doing, and the people I miss being around in person, but also myself. It’s like we’re all collectively trying to just get through each day so that we can get to the other side of it all. But, that’s not how I want to LIVE! So, I’m looking at ways to feel more connected and intentional on a daily basis…in other words, “FEEL THE MOVES”! Taking a little time for a lot of presence is the best way out of going through the motions and into feelin’ the damn moves.
A really good way to approach this is through some self love rituals, because once you’re able to regain that connection with yourself, you’ll have an easier time sparking the connection with allllllllll the other things too. Practicing self love looks different on everyone, but a great place to start is with your body! It’s the most tangible point of entry, and helps get us nice and grounded. If you’re struggling with the best way to practice your self love, and need a little guidance or accountability, jump into our Self Love Fest live workshop this month! We’ll be giving you all the tools you need to get connected and grounded in your body again so you can start to hop out of the hamster wheel and into feeling again.
Even if it sounds silly, self love and connection with ourselves is REALLY flippin’ important, so make the time for it, and have fun with it! Pop over to the Move with us page to get all the info and sign up for the Self Love Fest live workshop on February 20th!
